Old flag of the Kingdom of Denmark. XII ct
The flag of Denmark, known as the Dannebrog was first depicted in some chronicles as a cross flag in white over a red field, very much like the Holy Empire at that time, and from there it adopted the known form as a norse cross that is kept nowdays, making it one of the oldest registered flags in the world.
