Historical flag of Brittany of the Black Cross or Kroaz du, widely used in the late middle ages as a militar and naval ensign. The cross flags were very common all the Middle ages long in Europe´s christian kingdoms. Every territory was granted a colour and a great number of flags comes from that use.
